User Paper Presentations

User Paper presentations will be held throughout 29 and 30 October - second and third days of the event.

User Paper presentations offer the opportunity for the GIS community to benefit directly from the experiences of others in using GIS to address issues of the department, business, organisation or industry. User papers are a key component of the EMEA UC 2008 presentations.

Play your part in everyday life

The conference theme is GIS for everyday life, GIS for everyday lifereflecting ESRI (UK)’s vision for geographic information systems to be an indispensable part of daily life. GIS is a powerful technology that is not only becoming a mainstream IT tool, but is quietly changing the way people live their everyday lives. 

From the papers submitted, the User Presentations from across Europe, Middle East and Africa will reflect the conference theme and profile excellence in the application of ESRI GIS to solve real world problems for their chosen industry sector or community. These presentations will demonstrate projects or programmes that have made a genuine difference to organisations or communities or the wider environment for example delivering tangible return on investment.  Papers submitted will also describe and explain strategic approaches to the adoption of ESRI GIS within your organisation.

After evaluation of the submitted abstracts, authors will be notified as to whether their abstract has been accepted or not and will then be given time to prepare their paper.

No presenter will be allowed to directly advertise a product, service, or company.
